How can I tell when my machine was built?On the name plate there is a serial number. For American built machines, the first two digits of the serial number represent the year the machine was manufactured. The last digit, if it is a letter, represents the month in which the machine was manufactured. The letters A-M are used (excluding I) to represent the months January through December respectively.
