V-Series Multi Head: VS/VY machines

Current release (V2.40 R01) updated 5/11/12:
VSB240R1.sys for CF Card installation

This software is for Barudan "V" series machines with more than one sewing head. Specific model numbers include:

Instructions for installing VS/VY series machine software from a CF card:

Download the "VSB190R0.SYS" file above, and save on your computer's hard disk.
Create a new folder on the CF card named SYSTEM.
Copy the software download to the SYSTEM folder you just created.
Turn the power OFF at the Automat.
Insert the CF card with the new system software on it.
Press and hold the Read key, while powering ON (on the Automat) until you see the "System Version" Screen.
Press and hold the Memory key to read the system files.
Select the correct system file to load by using the Jog keys, then press and hold the Execute key for 5 seconds to start the update process.
After the update completes, seek origin as you normally would upon power-on.

Instructions for installing VS/VY series machine software from a floppy disk:

Download the "VSB.SYS" file above, and save it to your hard drive
Label a blank, formatted floppy disk:
VS/VY System Disk
Version [####]
Copy the "VSB.SYS" file from your hard disk to the floppy disk
Turn the power OFF at the Automat.
Insert the floppy disk with the new system software on it.
Press and hold the Read key, while powering ON (on the Automat) until you see the "System Version" Screen.
Press the Read key to start the update process. Update takes a few minutes.
After the update completes, seek origin as you normally would upon power-on.

Please save the software attachment above, to your hard drive, and then transfer to either a Compact Flash card or USB flash memory drive as follows:

Create a new folder on the CF card / USB Drive named SYSTEM
Save the software download to the SYSTEM folder you just created
Turn the power OFF at the Automat
Insert the CF card / USB Drive with the new system software on it
Press and hold the Start button, while powering ON (on the Automat)
The "System Version" Screen will appear
Press and hold the Start button again, to display the CF System screen and read the system files from the CF card
If more than one system file is listed, select the correct file to load by using the Jog keys
Then press and hold the Execute key for 5 seconds to start the update process
After the update completes, seek origin as you normally would upon power-on
